Costa Rica is located in Central America. With a small population of about four million people, a high literacy rate and a citizenry that identifies with peace, it is the ideal country in which to build the first national model of peace. Since Costa Rica abolished its army in 1948, the country has had no military and has taken a neutral stand when faced with regional conflicts. 

Quizur, a 2-acre property, serves as headquarters for the Rasur Foundation and its main project, the Academy for Peace of Costa Rica. Quizur is located in Piedades de Santa Ana, which is about 25 minutes west of the capital of San Jose and is about 30 minutes from the airport. The address is 350 meters south of the Shang Hai Restaurant. See map below.
