CURRENT PROJECTS
The Rasur Foundation is currently implementing three projects: Current Projects.

  • The Academy for Peace
  • Advocacy for governmental infrastructure for peace
  • Peace promotion
  1. The main focus of the foundation is the Academy for Peace, which is currently working to upscale the BePeace “train-the-facilitator” program to the national level. For more information on the Academy for Peace and its activities, click here.
  1. Through advocacy for governmental infrastructure for peace, the Rasur Foundation is proposing initiatives that create permanent government infrastructure for peace. This includes a bill to create a Ministry of Justice and Peace, which was embraced by the Costa Rican government administration and will soon come to vote before the Legislative Assembly. To see the bill in English, click here. 1. The Rasur Foundation collaborates with the Costa Rican government and other NGOs in peace promotion events in order to reinforce the nation’s identification with peace. Two celebrations are of particular importance each year: the International Day of Peace (September 21) and the Season for Nonviolence (January 30-April 4).
